Scope
We act as a food sales agency and broker, arranging the supply of Scottish Shortbread from UK bakeries to buyers in European markets. The products, quantities, packaging and delivery terms for each order are confirmed in writing before dispatch.
Prices and fees
Prices are quoted in euro and confirmed in writing, based on category, specification, packaging and order volume. We do not publish retail prices. A quotation is valid for the period stated in it.
Orders and confirmation
An order is only accepted once we have confirmed the specification, packaging and commercial terms in writing. Availability is checked with the supplying bakery before confirmation.
Delivery
Delivery terms, lead times and the point at which risk passes are stated in the written order confirmation for each shipment.
Cancellation and returns
Because goods are produced and packed to order, cancellation and return arrangements are agreed in writing for each order. Where goods are not as confirmed, contact us and we will put it right.
Liability
We are responsible for arranging supply in line with the written confirmation. We do not guarantee outcomes that depend on matters outside our control, including customs clearance and onward distribution in the destination market.
